Crystal film screen is one of the transparent screen subdivision products, used in the environment with glass, such as architectural glass curtain wall, glass window, glass fence, etc.. It has the characteristics of super high permeability and ultra thin and light. What is the difference between it and LED film screen, the following to understand.

Is LED crystal film screen the same as LED laminated screen?

1.Production process manufacturing

Process advantages of crystal film screen

Since the IC pad of CSP package is only 150um*150um, there are 13 solder pins on one driver chip, so the requirements for mounting and soldering are very high, and the requirements for mass production are met by advanced clean workshop with specially selected advanced equipment and mature process requirements and experience.

Due to the small and many pads, the printing requirements are very high, and the printing quality cannot be discerned by the naked eye and ordinary machines, which can be well solved by high precision testing machines.

The role of packaging

The overall performance of the encapsulated and protected LED transparent screen can be significantly improved, such as

Enhance the protection effect on LED beads: the optical material completely wraps the LED beads and the welding place to prevent the beads from falling off.

Enhancing the display: no air layer between the LED beads and the protective panel/glass, which reduces light loss, enhances brightness and reduces power.

Enhance the protection of circuit boards and metal lines: optical materials completely cover the circuit boards and metal wires to prevent short circuits in the lines caused by wire damage and oxidation.

Enhance the performance of dustproof, waterproof, moisture-proof and anti-collision: improve the overall adaptability and reliability of the LED screen and extend its service life.

In addition, the encapsulated and protected LED transparent screen has the following characteristics.

Light and thin, the thickness of the LED transparent screen after encapsulation and protection is 1.5-3mm, and the weight per unit area is ≤ 2Kg/m2.

High transmittance, flexible optical encapsulation material will not change the transmittance of the original LED flexible film screen.

Soft, bendable, cuttable, adaptable to curved structures and suitable for curved displays.

Easy installation, repair and maintenance, targeted replacement of dead lights, without the need to discard the entire screen.

Good weather resistance, products can withstand high/low temperatures, UV rays, outdoor products can withstand water showers and salt spray.

The overall cost is lower compared to gouge lamination.
