Diversity & Outreach Definition

EBICS is committed to  "the principle of broadening participation" and is focused on "leadership in the involvement of groups traditionally underrepresented in science and engineering, at all levels (faculty, students, and postdoctoral researchers) within the Center. Increasing the participation of a diverse U.S. citizenry, including women, persons with disabilities, and underrepresented minorities...by creating opportunities and enabling them to contribute is essential to the health and vitality of science and engineering."
