Distinguished Post-Doc

Requesting Applications for 2nd cycle of EBICS Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship!

EBICS, housed at the three primary institutions: Georgia Tech, MIT, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, invites applications from postdoctoral fellows from groups traditionally underrepresented in science and engineering fields, with demonstrated interest in addressing the grand challenge of engineering multi-cellular biological machines to achieve desired functionalities. Applicants are expected to integrate principles of engineering and biological sciences, as well as to demonstrate a commitment to EBICS’s broader scientific goals of establishing a fundamental understanding of cell-cell and cell-environment interactions, by intrinsic and extrinsic biological, manufactured, environmental, and mechanical cues. This fellowship welcomes applicants with training in all traditional engineering disciplines, as well as bioengineering/biomedical engineering, computer science, and the natural sciences.

One fellowship will be awarded per year. Applications will be considered until position is filled.
